Summa Rugby Integration was established in 2014 in order to enhance the standard of Sri Sumangala College Rugby. The organization runs as a non-profitable organization whose members consist of past students of the college. The main goal of Summa Rugby Integration is to promote and develop rugby skills among school children. Since the initiative of the union there is a visible improvement in the total segment of rugby in the college.
Mission Rugby has the potential to make a significant impact on young people's lives. Hence, our mission is to produce elite rugby players whilst contribute to the development of self-reliance and resilience within themselves. We are also committed to promoting discipline, commitment, team spirit, integrity and honor both on and off the ground.
Our vision is to play top premier rugby in the school premier league while producing skillful players to the national duties.
Sri Sumangala College, Kandy continued their winning ways in the 2026 Dialog Schools Rugby League with a clinical 33-10 victory over newcomers Lumbini College. In a match shifted to Police Park due to poor ground conditions at Havelock Park, the "Giant-Killers" from the hill capital demonstrated their superior fitness and structure to secure their second consecutive win of the campaign.
